..... The team that executed this survey and all the technical information are incorporated in the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics – IBGE. This electronic space is independent; it was created and is coordinated by members of the old staff of the Project.

......The original idea was to collect stories, lived by its technicians in trips around the country, which sometimes were true adventure. But suggestions began to appear and it was decided to open space to collect newspaper articles, magazine stories, photos, legal documents, biographies and interviews, trying to restore the common history of these people. In order to meet the national and international scientific community, fulfilling a gap that, in times of globalization and net communications, demands the existence of a space for dissemination of the work done by the Project RADAMBRASIL, it was decided that technical matters associated with reports, methodologies, publications and citations would be also discussed.
